Job description We have an immediate need for a locum contract cardiothoracic physician assistant in Upstate New York! Work 24 hour shifts and/or 4 10s per week! Excellent Scheduling Options! The contract length shall be a 6 month contract to start and is a full time 40 hour work week minimum! Position Highlights Must be BC/BE with NYS License

EPIC EMR 1

5 to 1:6 Call schedule for 24/7 in house coverage Endoscopic Vein and Artery Harvesting OR first and second assisting Some outpatient clinic responsibility History and physical exams Rounding on floor and ICU patients census management Weeknight/weekend call coverage (floor calls and emergency surgical procedures) Inpatient consults Bedside procedures (thoracentesis, central/arterial line placement, chest tube insertion/removal, etc.) Supportive and congenial working environment Minimum Qualifications Licensed or eligible to practice in the state of New York 1 - 2+ years of Surgical and/or Cardiac experience. BLS certification required. Experience required in Endoscopic Vein Be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program NCCPA certification
