Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Physician Assistant (PA) for a travel assignment in a Radiation Oncology setting. The PA will provide comprehensive patient care, assist with treatment management, monitor patients throughout their care, and collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary oncology team.
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient follow-up visits and assess treatment progress. Monitor and manage treatment-related side effects and symptoms. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medications, and care plans. Order and coordinate appropriate radiology and diagnostic studies. Review patient history, clinical findings, and diagnostic results. Collaborate with radiation oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Document patient assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately in EPIC. Provide ongoing support and education throughout the patient's oncology treatment. Maintain compliance with facility policies, clinical standards, and patient safety requirements.
Requirements:
Current and active PA license. Minimum 2 years of PA experience . Oncology experience preferred. A HA
