Advanced Practice Provider Department:
Student Life | Student Health Services Collaborates with a team of healthcare professionals and support staff to provide primary care, ambulatory care, and clinical services, primarily to students of The Ohio State University; consults and provides consultation with other health professionals within and outside facility; provides counseling for health issues and health education; provides direct medical care to students in healthcare setting; performs procedures and other special tasks as approved credentials permit; participates in program review and improvement activities; may assist in clinical research projects. Student Health Services is accredited by the Joint Commission and is in the Wilce Student Health Center, at the center of the Columbus campus.Qualifications:
Required:
Master's of Science Degree in Nursing of Master's in Physician Assistant Science and successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with prescriptive authority; certification by National Nursing Organization (ANA, NAACOG, ANCC) or National Commission of Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA); license to practice and prescribe in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant; current BLS-HCW certificate.Desired:
0 to 2 years of relevant work experience; 3-5 years' experience in ambulatory care as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, preferred; DEA Certificate; familiarity with an electronic health record. Successful candidate must successfully complete a background check and health screening.Additional Information:
Applicants must submit a resume and cover letter. Targeted hiring range is $101,700 to $124,650. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, the unit's available budget, and the selected candidate's qualifications.Career Roadmap Designation https:
