Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and formulate individualized care plans. Administer and manage patient medications. Employ robust clinical skills in areas such as medical-surgical care. Execute venipuncture and specimen collection processing. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Provide utilization management support to optimize healthcare resources. Maintain accurate and current medical records. Adhere to workers' compensation legislation and regulations.
Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program or a Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing. Current Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice. Certification as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in the relevant specialty area. Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records systems. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment. Experience in home, clinic, and hospital settings. Comprehensive knowledge of workers' compensation law. Expertise in managing complex wounds. Proficient in PICC, midline and peripheral IV. Proficiency in assessing the need for rehabilitation care
