Provides health care in collaboration with physician(s). Manages selected cases according to established protocols; maintains case histories, medical reports, and other records; prepares treatment plans; orders x-rays and other diagnostic procedures; writes prescriptions according to protocols; refers acute and chronic care patients; patient education counseling; conducts health assessments utilizing diagnostic tools and laboratory tests.QUALIFICATIONS
Currently licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Licensure and Supervision OR the Oklahoma Board of Nursing Demonstrates graduation from an approved school for Advanced Practice Clinicians (PA or APRN) Experience in a clinic or ambulatory setting preferred National certification as Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (if applicable) Licensed under the supervision of an Active Staff physician Physically and mentally able to conduct job duties as listed Maintains malpractice coverage as defined by the Board of Trustees Current CPR card or completion of course within 30 days of hirePHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Able to discriminate minute details Able to communicate (written and oral) in English Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections. Adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, for evaluating patients. Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care Possesses fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.: administer medications, and handle instruments) Able to work in a latex burdened environmentSimilar jobs in Stillwater, OK
