You will have a combination of days in the clinic with your own schedule and days in the OR assisting in surgeries(training as needed). We offer flexibility, great support staff and a fun thriving patient centered practice. Responsibilities Assess patients' needs and their wants and aim to fulfill them as well as possible Issue appropriate prescriptions and administer medicine, order tests etc. as needed Inform physicians about any problems or discrepancies that might arise Acquire and review patient histories identifying abnormal conditions Monitor patients' progress and keep records of treatments, surgeries or other medical events through EHR documentation (Athena currently used). Provide help during surgeries (training provided as needed) Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for our patients by following our mission statement. Skills Proven work experience as a certified physician assistant preferably in foot and ankle (Podiatry) and/or Orthopedics Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task Caring and compassionate Team player with good communication!
