This position plays a vital role in helping patients recover from injury and surgery by ensuring they receive the right equipment, education, and support at the right time. As the primary coordinator for orthopedic bracing, durable medical equipment, casting supplies, and related services, you will work closely with surgeons, physician associates, nurses, medical assistants, radiology staff, and billing teams to deliver exceptional patient care. What You'll Do Coordinate the ordering, authorization, fitting, dispensing, and follow-up of orthopedic braces and durable medical equipment. Fit and dispense custom and off-the-shelf orthopedic braces in accordance with provider orders and manufacturer guidelines. Obtain patient measurements and provide education regarding proper use and care of prescribed equipment. Verify insurance benefits and authorization requirements. Monitor authorization status and communicate updates to patients and staff. Apply and remove casts and splints under provider direction. Assist providers with casting and immobilization procedures. Manage DME inventory, supply ordering, and inventory audits across multiple clinic locations. Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with DMEPOS and payer requirements. Collaborate with clinical and billing teams to support efficient patient care and accurate reimbursement. What We're Looking For Current Certified Orthotic Fitter (COF) certification required. Experience in orthopedics, DME coordination, orthotic fitting, casting, or a related healthcare setting preferred. Knowledge of orthopedic bracing, splinting, and DMEPOS requirements. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent patient service. Experience with insurance verification and prior authorizations preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Why ROC?
