Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

$97.00 - $105.00 This facility is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need. Details & requirements for this opportunity:Volume:
2 per hourSchedule:
7p-7a, 7a-7p, 1p-7p or 10a-10p, 4-6 shifts per month- Backups available: Yes
Electronic Medical Record:
EPIC- Certifications required: Board Certified, Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Life Support (PALS) through American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
- Active Pennsylvania Medical License
