Job Description

Location:
Heritage Valley Beaver & Heritage Valley Sewickley campuses
Work Hours:
Daylight/Evening nights positions available. Will require weekend and holiday availability. The Hospitalist Physician Assistant is a professional with education and training in the primary and emergency medical care of the adult and geriatric populations. The physician assistant is responsible for providing primary care to hospital inpatients under the direct medical supervision of the Hospitalist Medical Director and/or his designee. Requirements Nationally certified and/or state licensed to provide skills as a Physician Assistant in Pennsylvania with current PA State Supervising physician authority.

CPR certification. Must have a Master's degree or a current Medicare Provider number. DEA Registration. Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106. . Must possess ability to work autonomously. Preferred One year or more hospitalist experience. ACLS and PALS certification is encouraged.
