Join Our Team as an Electrophysiology Physician Assistant and Make a Difference in Cardiac Care! Are you a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant with a passion for electrophysiology and advanced cardiac procedures? We are seeking a highly motivated Electrophysiology PA to support a busy, innovative cardiology department at WellSpan Chambersburg Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment, using state-of-the-art technology to improve patient outcomes. In this vital role, you'll assist with complex electrophysiology procedures including pacemaker and ICD implants, ablations, and more, providing top-tier care to a diverse adult patient population. Essential Skills & Qualifications:
Board-certified Physician Assistant licensed to practice in the state Current DEA registration ACLS and BLS certifications Prior experience in cardiology, interventional, or electrophysiology settings Strong procedural and clinical skills specific to cardiac electrophysiology Excellent communication and patient care abilities Nice to
Have Skills:
Experience with
EPIC EMR
system Prior involvement in complex diagnostic and interventional procedures Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Preferred Education & Experience:
Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent Minimum of 2 years' relevant clinical experience in cardiology or electrophysiology Proven track record in performing or supporting electrophysiological procedures
Other Requirements:
Availability to work Day shifts (4x10-hour days, 08:00 - 18:00) Credentialing in approximately 90 days; temporary credentials may be available for qualified candidates Willingness to support postoperative care and participate in a busy clinical environment Enjoy competitive pay at $140.42/hour, weekly pay via direct deposit, and benefits including comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick leave, licensure, certification, travel reimbursements when applicable, and a robust referral bonus program.
