A Physician Assistant provides medical care to patients, under the supervision of a physician or surgeon. Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Looking to step out of the day-to-day demands of patient care while still doing work that counts? At The IMA Group in Philadelphia, PA, you'll conduct evaluation-based exams that help determine VA disability benefits for veterans. There's no diagnosing, no prescribing, and no follow-up care — just objective, structured clinical assessment.What You'll Do:
Perform focused physical exams and review veterans' medical history Record objective findings through a streamlined, easy-to-use reporting system Deliver accurate, on-time reports that move the VA claims process forwardWhat You Won't Do:
No treatment planning or prescribing medications No continuity-of-care responsibilities No after-hours or on-call coverageWhat Makes This Role Different:
