Job Description

Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals. This position requires at least 2 to 3 years in dermatology. No exceptions will be made. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical examinations. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Perform procedures such as annual skin exams, biopsies, Botox for hyperhidrosis and biologic injection treatments. Manage patient care in various settings, including geriatrics and telehealth environments. Utilize EMR for electronic health records management, ensuring accurate documentation of patient information. Triage patients effectively to prioritize care based on urgency and medical necessity. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and their families on health management and preventative care strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate billing practices. Qualifications Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies or a related field from an accredited program. Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology, with the ability to apply this knowledge in clinical practice. Previous experience in dermatology is a must. Familiarity with electronic health record systems, particularly EZDERM, is advantageous. Ability to ventilate patients when necessary, demonstrating proficiency in emergency procedures. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Experience with EZDERM software is a plus.
