Vascular Surgery | Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Join Guthrie Lourdes Hospital in a hybrid vascular surgery APP role combining first assist, clinic, inpatient rounding, and consult responsibilities within a supportive, high-functioning practice. Highlights of the Position Hybrid role spanning first assist in surgery, outpatient clinic coverage, inpatient rounding, and consults. Practice based at Guthrie Lourdes Hospital, Tower location, 161 Riverside Drive, Suite 105. Work alongside a highly regarded vascular surgeon known for strong APP partnership, mentorship, and hands-on teaching. Opportunity for experienced candidates and select new graduates with the right work ethic, attitude, and team fit. Manageable shared weeknight call structure with low overnight burden. Immediate opportunity to make an impact in a busy vascular practice with meaningful operative and clinical exposure. Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with eligibility for practice in New York. For Nurse Practitioner candidates, RNFA is required for first-assist responsibilities. Vascular surgery experience preferred; strong general surgery or other first-assist experience will also be considered. New graduates may be considered based on fit, professionalism, work ethic, and interest in a surgical practice environment. Ability to function across clinic follow-up, consultative, rounding, and operative support responsibilities. Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and a collaborative, team-first approach to patient care. Comprehensive Compensation and Benefits Competitive base compensation commensurate with experience. Additional weekday call pay is currently structured at $250 per night. Weekend call-in pay is currently structured at $500 when applicable. Current APP compensation model is straight salary plus call pay; future productivity model considerations remain under review. Standard Guthrie benefits and onboarding support apply. Work-Life Balance Shared call model with typically low-volume phone calls, most commonly routine post-operative questions.
