This is a low stress, fully mostly remote position (with 1 day a week to every other week in office) focused on patient access, efficiency, and high quality care. This role is ideal for Physician Assistants seeking strong work life balance, either as a primary position or as a supplemental role alongside an existing clinical schedule. Clinical care is outpatient, non emergent, and appropriate for telehealth evaluation. The practice model emphasizes autonomy, efficiency, and direct physician access when needed. Key Responsibilities Provide remote patient consultations through a secure telehealth platform Work in office at our Tulare and Bakersfield location 1 time a week for 4 hour shifts, other shifts are telehealth. Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patient care within scope of practice Complete electronic documentation Maintain asynchronous and real time communication with the supervising physician Requirements Active, unrestricted California Physician Assistant license Comfortable using electronic health records and telehealth technology Private, professional home workspace suitable for telehealth visits Spanish speaking is a plus Compensation and Benefits Hourly pay range $75 to $85 per hour W 2 Starting rate based on experience and clinical background One hundred percent employer paid malpractice insurance, occurrence policy 401K offered with company matching Supervision and Practice Model This position operates under a modernized California Practice Agreement. In accordance with current California guidelines, the role allows for a flexible supervision structure with physician support readily available while maintaining professional autonomy.
