Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in a collaborative environment. This position is suited for individuals who are passionate about hair transplant surgery. The Physician Assistant will work closely with the physician and technicians and should enjoy working with their hands. Duties Conduct physical examinations of the scalp and be familiar with causes of hair loss. Perform manual follicular unit extractions and assist in graft placement. Understand hairline design, beard design, and the contour of the eyebrow.. 90% of time will be spent in the operating room, with minimal paperwork. Administer local anesthesia. Follow physician's design for graft extraction and graft placement. Ability to use 5x loupes during both graft extraction and graft placement. Maintain accurate medical records. Prescribe medication for hair loss and post-surgical management. Requirements Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program. Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). ACLS certification. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate patients effectively. A commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the hair transplant community. Ability to work collaboratively with technicians during the procedure.
