This role offers the opportunity to work closely with orthopedic surgeons in both the operating room and outpatient clinic settings, providing comprehensive care to our patients. Key Responsibilities:
Assist orthopedic surgeons during surgical procedures in the operating room Conduct patient evaluations, histories, and physical examinations in the clinic Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians Perform preoperative and postoperative patient assessments Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic tests and imaging Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and postoperative care Document patient encounters accurately and maintain detailed medical records Participate in patient follow-up and ongoing care management
Skills and Qualifications:
Certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Certified Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or CNP Prior experience in orthopedic surgery or musculoskeletal medicine Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, surgical protocols, and patient care standards Join our innovative healthcare organization that values professional growth, collaborative teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
