Job Description

Sterling Medical is seeking a qualified Physician Assistant (PA) to support services at Fort Bliss, Texas , including the Soldier Readiness Processing Center and associated military medical clinics. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a structured, mission-driven environment supporting active-duty service members.
Position Details:
Monday-Friday schedule 8-hour shifts between 5:00 AM - 4:30 PM No nights, weekends, or on-call

Military Clinics Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from an ARC-PA accredited program NCCPA certification (PA-C) Minimum 1 year of recent primary care experience (within last 2 years) Active, unrestricted state license NPI required (DEA not required) BLS Certification (AHA or Red Cross, in-person)
Benefits:
15 days PTO (120 hours) annually , accrued each pay period 11
Paid Federal Holidays Sick Leave:
1 hour per 30 hours worked (up to 56 hours, with carryover) 401(k)
Plan:
Eligible to contribute up to 25% of salary
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct medical evaluations to ensure Service Members are cleared for mobilization/demobilization (MOB/DEMOB) Provide primary care services , including history, physical exams, diagnosis, and treatment Maintain efficient patient flow, seeing approximately 4-6 patients per hour (SRP) Administer Health Risk Assessments and review medical histories Order and review labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests , and follow up on abnormal findings Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans within scope of practice Coordinate care and facilitate referrals to specialists as needed Complete accurate and timely documentation in MHS Genesis (within 24 hours) Respond to medical emergencies, including cardiopulmonary events , as needed Maintain productivity standards consistent with Military Treatment Facility (MTF) expectations Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and quality assurance/peer review activities Adhere to DoD, DHA, MTF, CDC, and Joint Commission standards and protocols Utilize telehealth and other healthcare technologies as appropriate Comply with all credentialing, training, immunization, and documentation requirements (including timekeeping systems) Contact Information iboyett@sterlingmedcorp.com
