NEUROSURGERY AND SPINE SURGICAL PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT OPPORTUNITY

Position Details:
Full Time- Monday - Friday work schedule including call coverage Assist neurosurgeon in the OR 3 days per week, clinic & hospital 2 days Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient assessments Manage patient care in both inpatient and outpatient settings Provide education and counseling to patients and their families Plan treatment and document using
EPIC EMR
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans Comprehensive benefit package with health, life, dental, vision and 401
K Requirements:
Texas licensed & Board-Certified Physician Assistant Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program Minimum of 2 years of experience in neurosurgery preferred. Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment The Physician Assistant ("PA") will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times. Master's degree Physician Assistant required. The PA will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure. The PA's duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only.
