GiaCare Inc. is currently looking for qualified, civilian Physician Assistants for a potential upcoming opportunity at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (JBSA-Lackland) in San Antonio, Texas. This position is in anticipation of contract award and is not an active opening at this time. This role will support an outpatient clinical environment, providing medical care to military personnel in a structured, team-based setting focused on health, readiness, and continuity of care. Position Overview The Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive outpatient medical services, including patient evaluation, diagnosis, treatment planning, and coordination of care. This role works closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient health and operational readiness. Minimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Current, full, active, and unrestricted Physician Assistant license Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in one or more of the following: Family Medicine Flight Medicine Occupational Medicine Urgent Care Emergency Medicine Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in a military or federal healthcare setting Experience providing outpatient care to active duty or military populations Work Environment Full-time Outpatient clinical setting Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland San Antonio, Texas Collaborative, multidisciplinary healthcare environment Important Notice This position is contingent upon contract award.
