Job Description

Location:
Ogden, Utah Schedule:
12 hours per week (600 hours annually)
Population:
Students ages 16-24 Primary Responsibilities Conduct physical examinations and develop treatment plans. Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions. Prescribe medications within scope of practice and supervisory authority. Administer immunizations and preventive health services. Document all patient encounters accurately and timely. Participate in DAC meetings when requested. Coordinate referrals for specialized or emergency care. Collaborate with behavioral health and substance abuse staff. Maintain infection control and HIPAA compliance standards. Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Utah Physician Assistant license. Valid DEA registration with prescribing authority. Current professional liability insurance of at least $1,000,000 per occurrence . Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing. Experience in primary care; experience with adolescent/young adult populations preferred. Ability to work both independently and under physician supervision as required by state law. Supervisory Requirement Must maintain a current Supervisory Agreement with a licensed Physician in accordance with Utah regulations. Supervisory Agreement must support prescribing authority, including controlled substances. All licenses and supervisory agreements must remain active during the full contract performance period
