Surgical Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT)At Seneca Hill Animal Hospital, we are looking for a motivated, skilled, and compassionate Surgical LVT to join our growing AAHA-accredited hospital team.

If you thrive in surgery, anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, patient care, and fast-paced veterinary medicine, we want to meet you!

What Youll DoAs a Surgical LVT at Seneca Hill, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient safety, surgical excellence, and exceptional client care.
Responsibilities include:
Inducing and monitoring anesthesiaIntubating patientsMonitoring surgery, recovery, and patient vitalsAssisting veterinarians with surgical and medical proceduresPerforming dental cleanings, charting, and dental radiographsCollecting blood samples and preparing lab submissionsAdministering medications, fluids, and supportive therapiesTaking diagnostic radiographsPreparing and maintaining surgical packs and autoclave equipmentMaintaining accurate medical records and treatment notesProviding exceptional patient care and client communicationWhat Were Looking ForCurrent Virginia LVT licenseStrong anesthesia and surgical monitoring experienceDental experience preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent communication and organizational skillsCalm, compassionate, and detail-oriented under pressurePassion for high-quality medicine and patient advocacyWhy Seneca Hill?
