This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in a collaborative, high-performing environment focused on delivering exceptional outcomes for adult cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care across the surgical continuum: pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative for cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients. Perform Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH) for CABG procedures. Assist in surgical cases and manage ICU and outpatient clinic responsibilities. Collaborate with surgeons, fellow PAs, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams.

Schedule & Setting Hours:

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30

PM Call:

1:2 rotation

Practice Setting:

Hospital-based and outpatient

Patient Population:

Adults (18+), mix of inpatient and outpatient

Average Caseload:

Outpatient:

1-5 patients/day

Inpatient:

5-10 patients/day

EMR:

Epic Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery as a PA. Proficiency in endoscopic vein harvesting and OR/ICU procedures. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families and staff. Current NCCPA certification and Virginia PA license (or eligibility). Compensation & Benefits Competitive guaranteed base salary (no productivity factor).
