Duties Conduct thorough physical examinations, patient assessments, and vital signs monitoring to inform diagnostic and treatment plans Prescribe medications, administer injections—including botulinum toxin treatments—and manage medication regimens in compliance with DEA regulations Perform diagnostic evaluations using EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; interpret diagnostic tests including ICD-10 coding and radiology reports Assist with procedures such as suturing, catheterization, airway management, spinal taps, and ventilator management in critical care or emergency settings Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to develop comprehensive care plans for patients in hospital medicine, ICU, trauma centers, or outpatient clinics Manage acute pain through targeted interventions and coordinate complex cases involving infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, or neonatal ventilator support Engage in clinical research trials and data collection initiatives to advance medical knowledge and improve treatment protocols Provide triage services in urgent care or emergency room environments; ensure aseptic technique during procedures; document medical records accurately Participate in discharge planning, post-acute care coordination, and client education to promote optimal recovery and health maintenance Experience Prior hospital experience in medical-surgical units, ICU (including PICU or neonatal ICU), or trauma centers (Level I & II trauma center experience preferred) Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks; experience with
