Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Dermatology Physician Assistant to join our innovative healthcare team. In this role, you will provide expert dermatological care by performing comprehensive patient assessments, assisting with medical and cosmetic procedures, and collaborating closely with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional patient experiences, promote skin health, and support ongoing clinical research initiatives. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and assessment of skin conditions. Assist dermatologists with procedures such as dermal fillers, dermabrasion, laser treatments, and dermal injections like botulinum toxin. Prescribe medications in accordance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper documentation within EMR/EHR systems like Epic or EMA. Manage patient intake, vital signs, and post-procedure care while maintaining aseptic techniques. Perform diagnostic evaluations, interpret test results, and coordinate follow-up care for complex dermatological cases. Support clinical research efforts by collecting data, managing medical records, and participating in clinical trials related to skin health innovations. Educate patients on skincare routines, treatment options, and preventive measures to promote overall skin wellness. Skills Proficiency with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or EMA for documentation and data management. Strong knowledge of dermatological procedures including dermal fillers, Botox (botulinum toxin), dermabrasion, and laser treatments. Experience with injection administration, suturing techniques, and aseptic techniques in outpatient or hospital settings. Familiarity with CPT coding for dermatological services and ICD coding for diagnoses. Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across specialties including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, and clinical research teams. Critical care experience preferred for managing acute skin conditions or emergencies requiring urgent intervention. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and secure handling of medical records. $43.54 - $76.93 per hour
