Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Duration:
- Immediate start for an initial period of 6 months.
Operational Specifications:
Start Date:
- Immediate.
Provider Commitment:
- Minimum of a 2-week on/off rotation required.
Practice Focus:
- 100% Adult Medicine.
Care Distribution:
- Inpatient services at 75%, outpatient services at 25%.
Weekend Responsibilities:
- Required to conduct rounds.
Patient Encounter Range:
- 5-10 patients per rounding.
Electronic Medical Records System:
- EPIC.
Training Availability:
- Training will be provided.
Hospital Privileges:
Requirement:
- Active hospital privileges are necessary.
Shift Structure:
Weekday Schedule:
- Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM.
Night Call:
- 3 PM to 7 AM.
Weekend Coverage:
- 24-hour call from 7 AM Saturday to 7 AM Sunday.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Board Certification/Eligibility:
- Required.
Relevant Training/Experience:

State License:
- Active Virginia medical license required.
