May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

  • Coverage Details:
  • Duration:
  • Immediate start for an initial period of 6 months.
  • Operational Specifications:
  • Start Date:
  • Immediate.
  • Provider Commitment:
  • Minimum of a 2-week on/off rotation required.
  • Practice Focus:
  • 100% Adult Medicine.
  • Care Distribution:
  • Inpatient services at 75%, outpatient services at 25%.
  • Weekend Responsibilities:
  • Required to conduct rounds.
  • Patient Encounter Range:
  • 5-10 patients per rounding.
  • Electronic Medical Records System:
  • EPIC.
  • Training Availability:
  • Training will be provided.
  • Hospital Privileges:
  • Requirement:
  • Active hospital privileges are necessary.
  • Shift Structure:
  • Weekday Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM.
  • Night Call:
  • 3 PM to 7 AM.
  • Weekend Coverage:
  • 24-hour call from 7 AM Saturday to 7 AM Sunday.
  • Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Board Certification/Eligibility:
  • Required.
  • Relevant Training/Experience:
  • Required.
  • State License:
  • Active Virginia medical license required.
  • Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA)
