Works in all areas and specialties of medicine, and is licensed to practice medicine but has less formal certification than a physician. Performs duties delegated by a physician such as recording patient medical histories, ordering diagnostic tests, or giving immunizations. May serve as the primary healthcare provider, in consultation with a part-time physician, in communities with limited health care resources.

Required Qualifications:
Board Certified PA Active Virginia License Active DEA Registration Current BLS Certification Minimum 1 year of experience in: Emergency Department (ED/ER), OR Urgent Care, OR Primary Care Position Highlights ✅ Competitive pay ✅ Flexible schedule with 3 shifts per week ✅ Ongoing assignment until permanent providers are hired ✅ Multiple clinic locations ✅ 100% outpatient setting ✅ Epic EMR ✅ No call responsibilities Physician Assistant (PA)- Urgent Care Locum Opportunity Virginia (Multiple Locations) up to $90 hourly rate 3 Days Per Week | Ongoing Assignment Are you an experienced Physician Assistant looking for a rewarding urgent care opportunity in Virginia? We are seeking multiple providers to help support busy outpatient clinics due to increased patient demand and recent provider departures. INDITP Clinical Responsibilities Providers should be comfortable performing and managing: Laceration repairs (simple, intermediate, and complex) Incision and drainage (I&D) Foreign body removal Minor burn management Skin lesion care Splinting and casting Joint reductions X-ray interpretation EKG evaluation Point-of-care lab interpretation Epistaxis management Cerumen removal Nebulizer treatments and emergency stabilization Schedule Clinics open 7 days per week Patient Population Treat patients from pediatrics through geriatrics Average daily volume ranges from 25-50 patients Increased seasonal volume during cold and flu season
Hours:
8:00 AM - 8:00 PM 12+ hour shifts depending on patient volume Providers are expected to care for all patients arriving during clinic operating hours
Pay:
$80.00 - $95.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 per week
