Physician Assistant - Family Medicine | Full-Time | Virginia Beach, VA Immediate opening due to practice growth. Blackwood Family Medicine is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant who wants to grow as a clinician and provide excellent primary care. Our clinicians perform appropriate workups and prepare patients for specialist consultation when needed, rather than simply referring patients without evaluation. • Provide comprehensive primary care for patients of all ages
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform preventive care, wellness visits, and health screenings
• Conduct appropriate diagnostic evaluations and initial workups to prepare patients for specialist consultation when referral is appropriate
• Educate patients about prevention, lifestyle changes, and disease management
• Collaborate with physicians and care team members to ensure excellent patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record Qualifications
• Board Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Active Virginia license or eligibility to obtain
• Commitment to evidence-based medicine
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
