Family Medicine/Primary Care Preceptor Faculty Role ALABAMA Alabama College of Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is seeking a family medicine or internist physician to join the growing team. ACOM has a strong reputation for innovation in osteopathic medical education and a supportive academic environment. This role combines clinical practice, teaching, and service to support the department's mission and the training of the next generation of osteopathic physicians.
Position Highlights :
Mixture of outpatient patient care and teaching responsibilities. Minimal call responsibilities - phone call only. Supervise 3rd- and 4th-year osteopathic medical students during rural clinical rotations Participate in curriculum development, faculty committees, and student advising Contribute to faculty development, scholarly activity, and recruitment initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits :
Salary range commensurate with experience Signing Bonus and student loan repayment offered!
Relocation Assistance:
up to $20,000
CME:
$3,500 annually + 5 days
Paid Time Off:
120 hours annually + sick leave + 10 paid holidays + 10 scheduled Dean's Day (days off).
