Alabama Medical License or eligible, Board-Certified in
Internal Medicine Experience:
Residency trained in Internal Medicine; prior hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Pay package discussed upon application Generous signing bonus Comprehensive benefits: health, dental, disability, and life insurance Retirement plan options Paid malpractice with tail coverage CME and professional fees allowances Paid interview expenses What You ll Do Provide inpatient coverage for adult patients in a busy hospital setting Manage unassigned ED patients requiring hospital admission Collaborate with intensivists on adult ICU admissions and care Co-manage transfer patients and support consults in-hospital Participate in team-based patient care alongside APPs and other specialists Utilize
EPIC EMR
for documentation and coordination Support a team-oriented, flexible schedule in a renowned regional referral center What You Need Alabama medical license or eligible for licensure Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Minimum 1-2 years of hospitalist or internal medicine experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work 12-hour shifts and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team About the Assignment Join a renowned 420-bed regional referral center serving over 600,000 residents across Alabama. This hospital features advanced neuro, cardiac, and trauma care, supported by a large, dedicated medical staff. The hospitalist program manages ED unassigned patients, transfers, and in-hospital consults, providing a dynamic and supportive environment for physicians committed to excellence in inpatient care.
