Join a thriving hospital-employed neurology practice on Alabama's Gulf Coast as we continue to expand services to meet growing patient demand. This is an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurologist seeking a balanced practice with strong clinical support, an established referral base, and the ability to develop individual interests within neurology. Opportunity Highlights Hospital-employed position with a stable and supportive health system General Neurology practice with the opportunity to develop subspecialty interests Hybrid practice model with approximately 80% outpatient and 20% inpatient responsibilities Established neurology service line with one vascular-trained neurologist and two experienced Advanced Practice Providers Dedicated neurology clinic space Strong referral network supported by 14 employed primary care clinics and longstanding relationships with independent providers throughout the region Expansion position driven by continued community growth and increasing patient demand Practice Details General Neurology with broad clinical scope Outpatient clinic combined with inpatient consults and rounds Average clinic volume of 25-35 patients per day Hospital consult volume of approximately 5-10 patients per day EEG interpretation required EMG/NCS experience preferred but not required Botox injections, lumbar punctures, and fellowship training not required Opportunity to establish and grow subspecialty interests Call Coverage Shared call rotation of approximately 1:3 Supported by two experienced APPs who participate in call coverage No separate stroke call requirement Primary Stroke Center designation Telestroke support available 30-minute response time; physicians are not required to remain in-house Compensation & Benefits Competitive income guarantee for the first 18 months Productivity model based on wRVUs with incentive opportunities Transition to a straight production model after the guarantee period Comprehensive benefits package Relocation assistance available CME allowance and paid time off Malpractice coverage provided Clinical Support Two dedicated APPs with extensive neuroscience experience One APP with Neuro ICU experience One APP with Neurosurgery experience Two dedicated clinical support staff members per physician On-site infusion center access EMG/NCS equipment available Family Medicine Residency program offering teaching opportunities Telemedicine infrastructure available Candidate Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology New graduates and experienced neurologists encouraged to apply Fellowship training welcomed but not required Ability to obtain Alabama medical licensure No visa sponsorship available
