Pelvic Pain OB/GYN Physician Location:
Homewood, Alabama Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated OB/GYN Physician specializing in pelvic pain to join our distinguished medical team in the Birmingham metro area. This role focuses on providing comprehensive care for women experiencing chronic pelvic pain, utilizing advanced and minimally invasive gynecologic techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and manage conditions such as chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Perform advanced minimally invasive and robotic surgical procedures. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including urogynecology specialists and pelvic floor therapists. Participate in patient education and develop long-term treatment plans. Engage in a shared call schedule with the OB/GYN team.
Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN. Interest or experience in chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis management, and complex gynecology. Proficiency in robotic and laparoscopic procedures. Strong collaborative skills for working with a multidisciplinary team.
