1 hour from Jackson (Physician/MD qualifications required) Family Practice - Low Volume Emergency Department hiring full-time Physician in Alabama Emergency Department Hiring Licensed Physicians in Alabama. Recent grads with ER exp. and candidates with an active & unrestricted AL License, Clean Databank and No malpractice history are encouraged to apply! This hospital is seeking a Board Certified Physician with ER experience to work in their Emergency Dept. on a full-time basis. The facility is located approximately 1-1|2 hr. from Montgomery and an hour from Jackson.

Census:

Approximately 6k|annual visits per year. (very low volume dept). Typically the provider works a 48 hr. stretch every week, plus 1 weekend a month. The personnel includes two RN's all the time working ER & the floor together. X-ray, CT & Lab are always staffed. They utilize a remote Radiologist who reads all the CT's and X-rays, however the physician can choose to read them as well. ER physicians do admissions and rounding while patient is admitted. Avg. 2-3 inpatients is about the maximum. EMR is implemented Very private physician room that has a bed, shower, refrigerator, etc.
