The position offers a collaborative environment, continuity of care, and a structured clinical schedule. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and health assessments for patients of all ages. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and clinical guidelines. Perform procedures such as administering injections. Manage acute pain and chronic conditions as needed. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize EMR systems efficient patient record management. Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention. Participate in clinical research initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Stay current with medical terminology, coding (ICD-9, ICD-10), and compliance standards. Other clinical responsibilities as required to assist in the care of patients, as requested by the medical practice. Requirements Valid Nurse Practitioner license with relevant certifications. Familiarity with Rheumatology is a plus. Strong skills in patient assessment, triage, and diagnostic evaluation. Knowledge of medical office operations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations including those with chronic illnesses.
