Job Description
A prestigious medical school on the Gulf Coast is seeking a medical oncologist/hematologist with clinical and research focus as a generalist. Must be board certified or board eligible in medical oncology and have an interest in being a generalist. The physician will be on the faculty of the University at the level matching their background experience.
Attending and participating in tumor boards specific to generalistoncology patients. Also, to attend/participate tumor boards for otherspecialties.

The duties include:
1. Clinics in medical oncology with subspecialty emphasis in all cancer fourdays/week. Will be expected to meet productivity and quality metrics.2. Be committed to providing multi-disciplinary approach to provision ofpatient care.3. Call is 1:8 days and weekends.4. Teaching fellows, residents, medical students as part of thehematology/oncology faculty to include grand rounds and continuity clinics.Attending and participating in tumor boards specific to generalistoncology patients. Also, to attend/participate tumor boards for otherspecialties.
