Cardiothoracic Surgeon Opportunity
  • Tuscaloosa, Alabama We are seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeon with proven leadership and team-building skills to join a highly regarded community-based practice.
The selected candidate will play a vital role in shaping the future of cardiothoracic care in West Alabama.
Position Highlights:
Employed position with a well-established healthcare system. Collaborate with an accomplished cardiovascular team, including two experienced surgeons. Opportunity to build upon a robust cardiology and cardiovascular service line. Focus on advanced surgical techniques, including:
  • Complex aortic disease and aortic valve repair/replacement.
  • Minimally invasive treatment of heart valve disease and heart failure.
  • Catheter-based and open surgical procedures.
Engage in research, process improvement, and quality care initiatives.
Candidate Qualifications:
Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery. 5-7 years of experience in an employed or private practice setting. Expertise in complex aortic procedures and advanced cardiothoracic surgery techniques. Strong leadership and collaborative skills. Dedication to clinical excellence and fostering team-based relationships.
