Job Description
Overview Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting a psychiatrist to provide outpatient onsite services to eligible beneficiaries of the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care Systems primarily located at 2400 Hospital Road, Tuskegee, AL 36083. This is a 1099 position, and the schedule is typically Monday-Friday with call. If you accept employment with Ansible, you must also acknowledge that any assigned schedule is subject to change at the direction of either Ansible or its customers. Our customers face wide-ranging challenges in the fields of national security, health care, and information technology. To address these challenges, we employ intelligent and committed staff who take care of our customers' success as if it is their own. Responsibilities Provide inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care Diagnose and treat patients with severe and persistent mental illness Conduct psychiatric evaluations and medication management Develop and manage treatment plans Admit, manage, and discharge psychiatric patients Provide follow-up care and post-discharge evaluations Complete E-consults and disposition evaluations See new patient referrals within required VA timelines (generally 30 days) Participate in emergency psychiatric coverage and consults Collaborate with VA mental health staff and interdisciplinary teams 6-6.5 bookable patient hours per day
