Women's Health Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)

Healthy Connections Position Overview Healthy Connections is seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join the provider team in Arkadelphia with a dedicated focus on women's health. This role is designed to expand access to OB/GYN services within the clinic, with a primary emphasis on managing women's health needs across the lifespan. While some primary care services may be included, the core focus of this position is women's health. This is a high-impact provider role in a busy clinical setting with strong demand for services. The APRN will deliver comprehensive care including preventive services, gynecologic care, and prenatal/postpartum support, while working within a collaborative care model that includes access to OB/GYN support. This position follows a full-time, four-day workweek (four 10-hour days), providing a consistent three-day weekend, along with participation in a shared call rotation across the provider team. Our providers work collaboratively across disciplines to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Women's Health & OB/GYN Care Provide preventive and annual women's health services, including Pap smears, pelvic exams, and breast exams. Deliver prenatal, antepartum, and postpartum care, including routine monitoring and patient education. Diagnose and manage common gynecologic conditions. Counsel patients on family planning, contraception, and reproductive health. Perform procedures such as IUD and contraceptive implant insertion and removal. Order and interpret diagnostic testing related to women's health. Coordinate referrals and collaborate with OB/GYN providers for higher-risk or complex cases. Primary Care & Clinical Responsibilities Perform physical exams and assess overall patient health status. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice. Develop and implement treatment plans and prescribe medications as appropriate. Provide patient education focused on prevention, wellness, and long-term health. Team Collaboration & Clinical Support Work closely with providers, nursing staff, and care teams to support coordinated, patient-centered care. Participate in Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) and other quality initiatives. Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support clinic workflow and patient access goals. Qualifications Graduation from an accredited nursing program and approved Nurse Practitioner program. Current Arkansas APRN licensure. DEA license required. Basic Life Support certification required. Experience in women's health, OB/GYN, or reproductive health required. Experience with prenatal/postpartum care and gynecologic procedures required. Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage a high-volume patient schedule in a team-based environment. Ability to build strong relationships with patients and staff. Work Schedule & Conditions Full-time position (40 hours per week) across four 10-hour days. Shared call rotation across the provider team. Clinical environment with moderate physical activity. Requires standing, walking, and typical clinical responsibilities.
