Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in a dynamic and collaborative hospital setting near Donaldson, Arkansas. This role offers the opportunity to work in a strong cardiovascular program at a Level II Trauma Center, supporting surgical teams in cardiac and thoracic cases. Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7 AM 3
PM Responsibilities:
Primary Duties:
Administer anesthesia for cardiac, vascular, and thoracic cases Supervise Cardiovascular CRNAs Perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE) and epidurals Support and collaborate with the Cardiovascular CRNA and MD team
Required Procedures:
Proficient with TEE Experienced in a range of CV cases, including ECMO and thoracic surgeries (excludes transplants)

Required in
Anesthesiology Licensure:
Active Arkansas medical license preferred; consideration for candidates willing to obtain one
Background:
Clean malpractice and background history highly preferred

Required Compensation and Benefits:
Holiday Rate:
1.5x standard rate for holiday hours
Orientation Rate:
Paid at half the hourly rate after eight hours of training
Malpractice Coverage:
Included in compensation package
Credentialing Information:
