Job Description

Hospitalist at Mercy in Fort Smith, Arkansas, United States Job Description Hospitalist (Mercy Clinic Fort Smith Communities, Fort Smith, AR): Diagnose, treat or provide continuous care to adult patients in a hospital setting. Prescribe medications or treatment regiments to hospital inpatients. Order or interpret the results of tests such as laboratory tests and radiographs. Admit patients for hospital stays and conduct discharge planning. Refer patients to specialized service providers as medically necessary.
Requires:
MD (first professional medical degree), completed residency in Internal Medicine or related, and an Arkansas medical license, or eligibility.
