Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Board-Certified Dermatologist Physician to join our esteemed healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive clinical expertise in dermatology, demonstrate a commitment to patient-centered care, and have a strong background in medical diagnosis and treatment of skin, hair, and nail conditions. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive dermatological services within a collaborative healthcare environment, utilizing advanced medical imaging and electronic health record (EHR) systems to enhance patient outcomes. The successful applicant will be instrumental in delivering high-quality care while engaging in continuous professional development. Duties Conduct thorough dermatological assessments, including physical examinations and medical history reviews, to accurately diagnose skin conditions. Utilize advanced medical imaging techniques and EMR/EHR systems to document findings and streamline patient management. Develop personalized treatment plans incorporating procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments and other minimally invasive interventions. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals across specialties including internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, and pediatrics to ensure holistic patient care. Educate patients on skin health, preventive measures, and treatment options while addressing their concerns with clarity and professionalism. Stay current with emerging dermatological research, clinical trials, and innovations in diagnostic radiology to enhance treatment efficacy. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold the highest standards of patient confidentiality and safety protocols. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and staff training sessions to promote excellence within the practice. Experience Post-residency experience in dermatology with demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing complex skin conditions. Hands-on experience utilizing EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or similar platforms for efficient patient documentation. Familiarity with medical imaging modalities pertinent to dermatology diagnostics. Prior involvement in clinical research or trials related to dermatological treatments or skin diseases is advantageous. Experience working within inpatient or outpatient settings at Level I or Level II trauma centers is preferred. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams across various specialties including immunology, oncology, pediatrics, and surgery. Strong background in performing procedures such as suturing, laser treatments, and botulinum toxin injections while adhering to aseptic techniques. Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dermatology and related disciplines such as endocrinology, rheumatology, or infectious disease care enhances clinical versatility.
