Locum Tenens Gastroenterologist Phoenix & Scottsdale, AZ Location:
Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona vibrant metro areas with year-round sunshine, world-class dining, and easy access to desert adventures.
Position Type:
Locum Tenens (Temporary Assignment)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to provide locum tenens coverage at outpatient and/or inpatient facilities in the Phoenix and Scottsdale region. This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work with a collaborative team in a thriving healthcare environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform GI procedures including EGD, colonoscopy , and consultative services Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal disorders Collaborate with nursing and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care Participate in call coverage as needed (may include nights/weekends) Document patient encounters in EMR systems
Preferred Skills:
Proficiency in ERCP and/or EUS (preferred but not required) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and adapt to new clinical environments
Schedule:
Flexible shifts available (weekday, weekend, or block scheduling)
Duration:
2 6 months with potential for extension
Compensation & Benefits:

Requirements:
