Airport Information - Albuquerque International Sunport This airport is the closest major airport to Chinle and is approximately a four-hour drive through Arizona's natural beauty. The Facility - Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility (CCHCF) The Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility is based in Chinle, Arizona (Northeast Arizona near Canyon De Chelly National Monument). The CCHCF is a 60-bed hospital which serves as the health care hub for the region. The medical staff includes Family Physicians, Internists, Pediatricians, General Surgeons, OB/GYN's, Anesthesiologists, and a Psychiatrist. In addition to routine outpatient and inpatient primary care, services available to our patients include Adult Intensive Care, General Surgery (including laparoscopic surgery), routine and operative Obstetrics, and 24-Hour Emergency Room Services. Health care services are provided to approximately 37,000 active users. Strong Navajo cultural traditions exist within the community, offering an opportunity to learn the Navajo language, or to learn about traditional Navajo medicine. & Hospital Drive, Chinle, AZ 86503 RESPONSIBILITIES (listed are included but not limited to) Providers shall see patients for general medicine problems including performing the history and physical exam, making electronic progress notes, scheduling return visits, writing orders for lab and x-ray, prescribing medications, etc. Functioning as a primary care provider, the provider shall request, as indicated, consultations from specialists and subspecialists with the Client staff. Provider shall participate in quality management activities that pertain to his/her duties. In addition to the above clinical responsibilities, providers shall hold routine administrative duties. Shall participate in clinical conferences for staff and shall attend medical staff and service-level meetings. REQUIREMENTS

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Board of Family Medicine. Must have a current license to practice medicine in any state, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia. Must have current certification in Basic Life Support as certified by the American Heart Association (AHA). Must be graduated from an accredited medical school (degree being either MD or DO).
