Description This contract position offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality medical care directly within the community, fostering a patient-centered approach in our medical practice. As a Locum Primary Care Physician, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive healthcare services, conducting patient assessments, and formulating effective treatment plans. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the highest standard of care and contribute to achieving the best health outcomes for our patients. Responsibilities Conduct thorough examinations and assessments for patients Diagnose and develop treatment plans for various medical conditions Prescribe medications and manage overall patient care Collaborate with healthcare staff to enhance patient care quality Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation Coordinate with specialists for comprehensive patient care Uphold the highest standards of medical ethics and professionalism Requirements Valid MD or DO license in the state of California Experience in primary care or a related field is preferred Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Commitment to providing patient-centered care Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) systems Board certification is a plus
