Outpatient IM - Associate Program Director Lead the Future of Healthcare Education with Banner Health in Mesa, Arizona Help us build the future of ambulatory medical education. Banner Health and the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix are seeking a passionate and collaborative internal medicine physician to join our leadership team as Associate Program Director for Ambulatory & Community Medicine at our outpatient health center in Mesa, Arizona. This is an opportunity to combine outpatient clinical practice with meaningful educational leadership while helping shape the continued growth of a new and innovative internal medicine residency program. About Our Program The University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix/Banner Desert Internal Medicine Residency is committed to developing compassionate, innovative, and highly capable internists who provide reliable, high-quality care to the communities they serve. Position Highlights As Associate Program Director for Ambulatory & Community Medicine, you will play a key role in designing and continuously improving the residency experience in outpatient and community-based medicine. Working closely with the Program Director, you will have the opportunity to help define what excellent ambulatory medical education looks like within a growing residency program.
Educational Leadership:
Lead and continuously evolve the ambulatory and community medicine curriculum, with opportunities to develop innovative approaches to longitudinal learning, primary care, population health, and community-based care.
