Job Description

  • Post-Acute Care Medical Director opening in Prescott, AZ
  • Sedona 68m, Phoenix 101m We are seeking a quality-driven Physician to join our Post-Acute Care team as Medical Director in Prescott, Arizona. Full-time position (4-5 days/week) is rounding and providing Medical Directorship in skilled nursing facilities, with excellent support and training, autonomy, and earning potential.
  • Dedicated night call coverage for work-life balance
  • Compensation is fee for service with an estimated compensation range of $274,000 to $308,000 annually and no cap on productivity income potential.
  • Medical directorship roles also include monthly stipends.

  • Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and physical exams
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs
  • Monitor progress and coordinate care to optimize outcomes
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals in a team approach
  • Educate patients and families on health management and preventive strategies
  • Maintain accurate, timely medical records in compliance with regulations
  • Qualifications
  • Current physician license (State of AZ) and DEA
  • Experience in post-acute, acute, ED, or clinic settings
  • Strong clinical foundation and knowledge of healthcare regulatory standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive outlook
  • Ability to commute/relocate: Prescott, AZ (required)
  • Work location: in-person
