This locums opportunity offers in-house call coverage for assigned and unassigned patients within a collaborative, Stroke Certified, Level III Trauma Center. Providers holding an active Arizona license or those eligible through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) are encouraged to apply.

Clinical Details & Responsibilities Practice Setting:

Hospital-Based 30-bed facility

Patient Population:

Adult general surgery patients

Clinical Volume:

Approximately 5 patients seen Approximately 3 phone consults Approximately 2 admissions Call ratio: 5

Clinical Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive general surgery call coverage Evaluate and manage assigned and unassigned surgical patients Perform emergency general surgery procedures as needed Complete hospital admissions Respond within 30 minutes when required Collaborate with emergency medicine, anesthesia, and hospital staff Document patient care using

Stroke Certified Level III Trauma Center EMR System:

Cerner Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery

• Required Active Arizona Medical License
• Required Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) providers welcome Fellowship Training
• Preferred Ability to provide hospital admissions
• Required Ability to meet 30-minute call response time
