Physiatrist or Neurologist EMG/NCS Part-Time HealthYes Staffing Network Bakersfield, CA Job Details Part-time $190 - $250 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Electrophysiology monitoring Electromyography Neurological devices Medical License Full Job Description HealthYes Staffing Network is seeking a California-licensed Physician with demonstrated EMG and nerve conduction study experience for an ongoing, one-day-per-week opportunity in the Greater Bakersfield area. This position does not require a physician to leave an existing practice or full-time job. It is designed for a local or commutable physician who wants to add one consistent clinical day to their schedule while using established electrodiagnostic skills. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physicians and Physiatrists will receive primary consideration. Neurologists and Pain Management Physicians may also be considered, but the ability to independently perform and interpret EMG/NCS studies is non-negotiable. Position Highlights One day per week Flexible supplemental opportunity Outpatient clinical setting Established patient demand Focused EMG and nerve conduction study responsibilities Ideal alongside an existing practice or employment schedule Ongoing part-time need Greater Bakersfield location Responsibilities Perform electromyography and nerve conduction studies Evaluate patients referred for electrodiagnostic testing Review relevant medical histories, symptoms, and clinical findings Identify peripheral nerve, neuromuscular, and related conditions Interpret testing accurately and develop complete diagnostic reports Communicate clinically relevant findings to referring providers Educate patients regarding the testing process and findings Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Follow applicable patient-safety, infection-control, and professional standards Collaborate with the practice's clinical and administrative team Qualifications MD or DO degree Active and unrestricted California medical license Demonstrated experience independently performing and interpreting EMG/NCS studies Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation or Neurology training strongly preferred Pain Management Physicians considered when qualified in electrodiagnostic medicine Board certification or board eligibility in the physician's primary specialty preferred Strong diagnostic, documentation, and communication skills Availability to work one consistent day per week in the Greater Bakersfield area Schedule One day per week Exact day and hours coordinated with the selected physician Intended as an ongoing part-time opportunity Compensation [Insert the employer's confirmed hourly or daily compensation range] Final compensation based on specialty training, EMG/NCS experience, credentials, and employment classification Qualified physicians with current EMG/NCS experience are encouraged to apply confidentially through HealthYes Staffing Network.
