Physiatrist (Experience Required)

Traumatic Brain Injury Physician Qualifications :

Must have completed Residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Neurology, Neurosurgery or Psychiatry.

Job Responsibilities :

Conduct one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams related to Veterans' TBI disability claims. Complete web portal documentation (DBQ) for determining veterans' diagnoses/disability. Engage in remote and live training on efficient charting processes. Meet Veterans in-person at designated locations or an approved location of your choice.

Working Conditions :

No ongoing care relationship or prescribing medication required. Each examination process is expected to take about 30 minutes to one hour. Flexible scheduling for appointments. Must be available to attend the live all expense pain VA Disability training in Oceanside, California. This role is suitable for healthcare professionals interested in non-clinical opportunities within military medicine.
