Monday-Friday, with local travel as needed Position Summary Kure Home Health is seeking an organized and dependable Orders & Physician Liaison Coordinator to manage physician orders and assist with obtaining timely signatures from physician and provider offices. This position includes both office-based administrative work and local travel to physician offices to deliver, follow up on, and pick up signed orders. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, persistent with follow-up, and comfortable communicating with physician offices and internal clinical staff. Responsibilities Review and track outstanding physician/provider orders. Prepare and send orders for physician signature. Follow up with physician offices by phone, fax, portal, or other approved methods. Travel to local physician offices when needed to obtain signatures. Pick up completed and signed orders from physician offices. Maintain accurate documentation of follow-up attempts and office visits. Upload and file completed orders into the appropriate patient chart. Monitor aging and outstanding orders and escalate unresolved items. Communicate with nurses, therapists, QA, Billing, Intake, and Clinical Management regarding missing orders. Maintain physician office contact information and communication records. Protect patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Secure all patient documents while traveling. Maintain accurate mileage and timekeeping records. Assist with audits, order reconciliation, and documentation requests. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous healthcare, medical office, home health, medical records, or physician-office experience preferred. Home health experience is a plus. Experience with WellSky/Kinnser is preferred but not required. Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Strong attention to detail. Professional verbal and written communication skills. Comfortable communicating with physician and provider offices. Ability to manage multiple outstanding items and priorities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and properly handle protected health information. Valid driver's license required. Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance required. Acceptable driving record required. Important This is an administrative, non-clinical position. A medical license or certification is not required. The Orders & Physician Liaison Coordinator does not independently interpret, modify, approve, or provide clinical direction regarding physician orders. Clinical questions are referred to the appropriate licensed clinician or Clinical Manager. Compensation $23.00- 27.
