Physiatrist - El Centro, CA (Residency Accepted) Sign-On Bonus of $15k Job Type - Full time

Friday Job Summary:
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Physiatrist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will diagnose and manage patients with physical disabilities or impairments, with a focus on restoring function and enhancing quality of life. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique needs and goals.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to determine physical and functional limitations. Develop personalized treatment plans involving therapy, medication, and rehabilitation. Perform minor procedures such as suturing and Botulinum toxin administration. Oversee discharge planning for smooth patient transitions to home or rehab settings. Deliver urgent care and basic life support when needed. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and progress. Collaborate on family planning and support addiction treatment strategies. Stay informed on developments in addiction medicine and related specialties. Proficient in managing ventilated patients and minor surgical interventions. Experienced in urgent care and familiar with medical office operations. Skilled in creating effective discharge plans tailored to individual needs. Committed to enhancing patient outcomes through coordinated, up-to-date care.
Experience and License:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution. Completion of a PM&R (Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation) residency program (current residents nearing completion are welcome to apply). Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. California medical license (active or in process). DEA license and ability to prescribe medications as required.
